Smeg is a family owned and run business that was founded in 1948 by Vittorio Bertazzoni Sr. Their headquarters are located in San Girolamo close to Guastalla in Italy.

In 1956, less than a decade after their launch, Smeg produced their first cooker. Next, came a washing machine in the 60's followed by the world first 14 place setting dishwasher in 1970.

Always at the forefront of design and innovation, Smeg understand the importance of balancing technology and aesthetics. They have continued to expand their appliance range and are well known for their high quality products.

Over the decades, Smeg have collaborated with architects and fashion designers to create some beautiful, state of the art appliances and small electricals.
