Telescopic wooden shelves absorb vibration while their slatted design allows you to store larger bottles, like champagne, with ease.

Telescopic runners make it easy to open the drawers and gain access to your wine collection

The stylish steel fronted shelves can accommodate 750ml Bordeaux, Burgundy and Champagne bottles.

Operating this Sense premium wine cooler is simple using the intuitive touch controls.

The white LED display has a number of functions as follows:

Light functions:
On/off, door opening, brightness and timer.

Programme functions:
Eco, normal, intelligent and demo.

Equipped with a charcoal filter, you can rest assured that wine stored in this cabinet will remain in great condition.

The filter supplies fresh air into the interior to prevent odours affecting the taste of the wine!

An alarm will sound should you accidentally leave the door open.

Blending beautifully with your kitchen, it features a toughened UV protected glass door with no surround.

Simply ask your kitchen designer or fitter to supply a frame to match your kitchen furniture. It can also be fitted with a solid door, no window.

It's possible to convert the WI6161 wine cooler into a beer fridge or cooler for your favourite carbonated drinks!

The wooden slatted shelves can be easily replaced with glass shelving.

Please note: Glass shelving is sold seperately.

Red, white and champagne stored in perfect conditions!

Dual stacked temperature zones along with an independently controlled upper and lower zone allows for the storage of both white and red wine varieties in one cabinet.

Temperature Range:
5ºC - 10ºC : Upper zone ideal for white wine
10ºC - 18ºC : Lower zone ideal for red wine

Easy Installation

The wine cooler comes with a reversible door but it is delivered with a right hinged door. You can change the door opening based on your preferences by following the instructions provided in the manual.

It is recessed to fit into a kitchen plinth. A 55mm vent slot is required for correct ventilation. Air is ventilated though the plinth grille and it is supplied with a universal plinth grille (W:525mm)

Featuring adjustable feet, the height can be adjusted to fit 100-150mm plinths.

Using Foot Silders

Should you wish to adjust the height over 820mm you must use both of the foot sliders provided in the box. These stop the feet catching and scratching the floor when sliding and installing the appliance into the space.

Once installed, you will need to fit the furniture door frame to the front of the wine cabinet. The door must not exceed 10kg in weight or, 18mm in thickness. The overall height of the furniture door must be a minimum of 715mm.

Can I store champagne in the Caple WI6161 Wine Cooler?

Yes, the slatted wooden shelves hold champagne bottles.

The maximum bottle capacity of 39 is based on Bordeaux Style wine bottles so this figure will be lower if you plan to store larger bottles.

Can I turn the WI6161 Wine Cooler into a can fridge for beer and fizzy drinks?

Yes! Simply swap a beech shelves for a glass shelves and fill it will canned drinks. It's perfect for a party room!

Glass shelves are sold separately.

How do I clean my wine cooler?

First, you must switch off and unplug your wine cooler before cleaning. Remove the shelves and any contents.

Create mix of 2 pints of warm water and 2 tablespoons of baking soda and use this to clean inside the unit. Dry completely ensuring no damp spots remain inside the unit.

Clean the shelves with mild detergent and wipe down any controls.

The outside of the appliance can be cleaned with mild detergent and buffed dry with a soft, dry clean cloth.

Can I leave the WI6161 Wine Cooler on when I go on holiday?

If you plan to go on a short holiday of three weeks or less, the WI6161 can be left on as usual.

For longer holiday periods (a few months) we recommend emptying the appliance and turning it off. Clean and dry the interior to prevent condensation build up which can cause mould and leave the door ajar to prevent odours.
