5 Sliding wooden shelves absorb vibrations while their slatted design allows you to store larger bottles, like champagne, with ease.

Shelves can accommodate 750ml Bordeaux, Burgundy and Champagne bottles.

The stainless steel square handle is a stylish design feature designed to compliment all kitchen decor styles.

A toughened UV protected glass door prevents sunlight spoiling your wine. This door helps preserve the quality of your wine until you're ready to enjoy it!

Operating the wine cooler is simple using the intuitive touch controls.

The white LED display allows you to monitor the internal temperature easily.

An internal fan ensures cool air is evenly distributed throughout the single zone cabinet so every bottle is stored in optimal conditions.

Love a cold beer or chilled sparkling drink? It's possible to convert the WI6142 wine cooler into a beer fridge or cooler for your favourite carbonated drinks!

The wooden slatted shelves can be easily replaced with glass shelving.

Easy Installation

The wine cooler comes with a reversible door, allowing you to customize its installation based on your preferences.

Air is ventilated though the plinth grille and it is supplied with a universal plinth grille(W: 525mm) plus, a full width grille for added convenience.

Featuring adjustable feet, the height can be adjusted to fit 100-150mm plinths.

Using Foot Silders

Should you wish to adjust the height over 820mm you must use both of the foot sliders provided in the box. These stop the feet catching and scratching the floor when sliding and installing the appliance into the space.

There is no need to purchase a separate grille for the WI3125 Wine Cooler as it is supplied with a universal plinth grille (525mm wide) and a full width grille in stainless steel.

Can I store champagne in the Caple WI6142 Wine Cooler?

Yes you can! The slatted wooden shelves hold champagne bottles perfectly.

The maximum bottle capacity of 52 is based on Bordeaux Style wine bottles so this figure will be lower if you plan to store larger bottles.

Is it possible to change the handle?

Yes! You can buy a HANDLE7 that is suitable for this wine cooler model. It is available in a number of colour finishes including stainless steel, black, copper and gold.

Can I turn the WI6142 Wine Cooler into a can fridge for beer and fizzy drinks?

Yes! Simply swap the beech shelves for 600mm wide glass shelves and fill it will canned drinks. It's perfect for entertaining!

There are special shelves deisgned for this appliance and they are sold separately and come in a pack of three.

Can I leave the WI6142 Wine Cooler on when I go on holiday?

If you plan to go on a short holiday of three weeks or less, the WI6142 can be left on as usual.

For longer holiday periods (a few months) we recommend emptying the appliance and turning it off. Clean and dry the interior to prevent condensation build up which can cause mould and leave the door ajar to prevent odours.

How do I clean my wine cooler?

First, you must switch off and unplug your wine cooler before cleaning. Remove the shelves and any contents.

Create mix of 2 pints of warm water and 2 tablespoons of baking soda and use this to clean inside the unit. Dry completely ensuring no damp spots remain inside the unit.

Clean the shelves with mild detergent and wipe down any controls.

The outside of the appliance can be cleaned with mild detergent and buffed dry with a soft, dry clean cloth.
