Cooling Spritz Cocktail Mixes In Minutes

13th May 2024

The Spritz cocktail recipes are brimming with flavour and bubbles. There are so many refreshing concoctions to discover, we’ve selected four of our favourite Spritz mixes that you’re going to love!

Hugo Spritz, Limoncello Spritz, Ruby Red Pampelle Spritz and Cucumber Spritz; they’re zingy, cooling and perfect for warm, sunny days.

Crafted with a blend of prosecco, a bitter liqueur such as Aperol or Campari, and a dash of soda water, Spritz cocktails offer a refreshing fusion of flavors, perfect for kicking off any occasion. The best news, they’re super simple to create and with a little garnish they look impressive too!

Spritz drinks, the Italian sensation that has captivated taste buds worldwide, are traditionally served over ice in a generously sized glass with a slice of orange or a plump green olive. The classic spritz recipe follows a very simple yet effective formula: three parts prosecco, two parts bitter liqueur, and one part soda water.

The Spritz's relatively low alcohol content makes them an ideal choice for lazy, balmy days or chic soirées!

Here are our handpicked selection of refreshing Spritz Mixes using the 3:2:1 method mentioned above:

What’s The Difference Between Soda Water & Sparkling Water?

Both soda water and sparkling water are created by infusing still water with carbon dioxide under pressure. This creates the fizz. However, soda water goes one step further as it is also infused with bicarbonate of soda which makes soda water slightly fizzier than sparkling. Some say this process helps soda water to hold its bubbles when spirits are added.

We’ve created our spritz recipes using freshly made sparkling water. There’s no need to buy bottled soda water as you can enjoy sparkling water at your fingertips with Sodastream. Enjoy spritzers whenever the mood takes you with the E-Terra Sodastream Sparkling Water Maker

The E-Terra enables you to customise carbonation to your preference with three preset levels all with the touch of a button. It comes with a 1L bottle complete with a special fizz preserving, hermetic sealing cap. Create the bubbles, pop on the lid and store it in the fridge so it's chilled and ready for your next spritzer!

Spritz cocktails are the epitome of laid-back sophistication. Whether you're unwinding with friends or toasting to life's simple pleasures, these refreshing mixes are sure to leave a lasting impression.
