Do I need to descle my Aeno Smart Kettle?

We recommend regular descaling to ensure the EK7s Smart Kettle continues to work effciently.

As a rough guide based on using 3-5 times per day:

Very hard/hard water area - Descale once a month

Medium/soft water area - Descale once every 2-3 months

How to I descale and clean the Aeno Smart Kettle?

Prior to cleaning, unplug the kettle and only clean when cool.

Wipe the outside with a soft damp cloth with mild detergent.

The inside should be descaled at regular periods using one of the following methods:

1. Use 0.5L of table vinegar, pour inside and leave for 1 hour. DO NOT BOIL. Pour vinegar away then rinse a few times before drying.

2. Boil 0.5L of water then add 25g of citric acid. Leave for 15 minutes. Drain the contents, rinse a few times before drying.

3. Anti scale solutions. Follow the instructions supplied with the product.

How do I connect the Aeno Smart Kettle to my smart phone?

Once connected to a Wi-Fi network (2.4GHz) download the AENO mobile app from Google Play or the App Store. You will be prompted to register a new account or asked to log into your user account. From here you can add the device and follow the prompts.

I have a new kettle, can I drink boiling water straight away?

No. You must fill the kettle to the MAX mark and boil, drain the water, re-fill and repeat.

You must not drink the water from the first two boils.

Allow the machine to cool before cleaning the interior and then the kettle is ready to use.

Does the Aeno Smart Kettle alert me when water reaches boiling point?

Yes! The kettle with automatically switch off and three beeps will sound once the water reaches boiling point.
