To make your life much easier we can now collect your old appliance at the same time as we deliver your brand new one.

The idea of disposing your old appliance can be stressful, but now you can leave the heavy lifting to us, as we can offer to remove and recycle your old appliance in an environmentally friendly manner. With the purchase of a new item, we charge just a small transportation fee of £20 to collect your old oven, dishwasher, fridge freezer, laundry appliance or cooker hood on a like-for-like basis.

Please be sure to have the old item disconnected, free of water and ready to collect upon delivery of your new appliance.

To add the removal of your old appliance to your order, simply visit our Recycling Service page and click the BUY button and the recycling option will be added to your basket.

What is WEEE?

The Waste Electrical or Electronic Equipment (WEEE) Directive requires countries to maximise separate collection and environmentally friendly processing of these items. In the UK, distributors (including retailers) must provide a system that allows all customers buying new electrical equipment the opportunity to recycle their old items free of charge.

We offer a free in-store recycling service. You can return your old appliance within 30 days of purchasing a new one from us; this is on a like-for-like basis only. Send to: WEEE Recycling, Setantii Building, Amy Johnson Way, Blackpool, FY4 2RP, with a copy of your purchase invoice.

Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) is taken back free of charge (in-store) on a one-for-one, like-for-like basis. Each local authority must also accept household WEEE free of charge at its recycling facilities. All WEEE must be recycled and should not be placed in any of your household wheelie bins. Make sure you always recycle all your old electrical goods.

Look out for the crossed out wheelie bin symbol on your electrical items and remember to have them recycled in the correct manner, please do not dispose of these in your normal bin.

Why Recyle?

Unwanted electrical equipment is the UK's fastest growing type of waste.

Many electrical items can be repaired or recycled, saving natural resources and the environment. If you do not recycle, electrical equipment will end up in landfill where hazardous substances will leak out and cause soil and water contamination - harming wildlife and also human health.
