Mount Kilimanjaro Ascent Challenge In Memory of George Wall
Darren Holliday, Managing Director at Abode Home Products Limited is set to take on a huge challenge; climbing Africa’s highest peak, Mount Kilimanjaro, in memory of his best friends son, George Wall.
On the 22nd June Darren will begin his attempt to climb Kilimanjaro with his close friends to raise funds for a local organisation; Hartlepool Families First. George regularly volunteered for the charity which supports disadvantaged and disabled children and young adults in the Hartlepool area.
Here’s what Darren has to say about his challenge;
“George was the eldest son of my best friends, and I have known him through his whole young life, a delightful and humorous young man, with a verve for life and a passion for making people laugh. He always put others ahead of himself so now in his passing I wanted to do something in his honour and in his name that would put him squarely at the front for once.”

Wishing you the best of luck in your climbing adventure Darren, I’m sure all the intense training will be worth it.
All the very best from everyone at Appliance House.
