Get Creative! Build Your Own Quirky OUTDOOR kitchen!
Planning a kitchen re-fit? Don’t throw away your old kitchen doors, sinks and taps, simply re-use them and create your very own outdoor kitchen. Outdoor kitchen gardens are quirky, fun and needn’t cost the earth. We took at trip to see the latest trends for the home and garden at the Ideal Home Show at Event City in Manchester last week and came home with some great inspirational ideas.
The unique outdoor kitchen garden, designed by Rouse Landscape an award winning landscape and build company based in North West England was, in our eyes, quite special! We took time to stop and take some snaps to share with you, we loved it that much.
A quirky, quaint outdoor kitchen surrounded by a floral border showcasing both ornamental and edible plants together was certainly one of our favourite exhibits from the show. For those up to speed with the latest garden trends this is known as an ornam-edible garden! Working in the appliance industry it was the quaint outdoor kitchen buzzing with charm and character that really caught our attention.
The worktops and plinth were simply made from slate tiles and an old Belfast Sink teamed with a traditional brass tap completed the showcase kitchen.
Imagine having the option of preparing food in your ‘2nd’ kitchen next time you do your family BBQ! Herbs and spices look fabulous potted and displayed on the worktops and if space is limited why not make your own living garden frames to hang on the garden walls or fences.
What a brilliant selection of ideas to create a wow factor in your outdoor living space allowing you to take the indoors, outdoors!
