About Russell Hobbs
In 1952 Bill Russell and Peter Hobbs made their first product, an electric coffee maker, and so began the start of Russell Hobbs. Russell Hobbs headquarters are based in Oldham in Greater Manchester.
With a desire to create new exciting products, the company launched the worlds first automatic kettle in 1955. During the 1960's they became the leading kettle brand in the UK.
Their product range has expanded from just kettles and coffee machines, although these are still very much an important part of the business! The company also make a wide variety of small household appliances including irons, juicers, electric shavers, vacuum cleaners and more.
